Weigh your own Fruit

I held up the line at the grocery today while the clerk tried to explain to me that I have to weigh my own fruit and stick the stickers on the bag so he can scan them. I didn't get a bag, so the stickers went directly on the fruit. And all the Germans in line behind me? waited patiently while I went and weighed my fruit (and got the apricot one wrong -- couldn't find the peach button). sigh -- another embarrassing learning experience!
