lighting info:
Overhead alien bees 800 with softbox barely in front, hanging above him about 2 feet. behind small strobe black wrap around the lamp as a bad snoot. and a pearly-gold reflector underneath. my lights were firing all crazy at this point because it was a mess where i was shooting and i must've tripped something crossed something stepped on... anyway, i was sharing this space with 2 HMIs and a bunch of film production equipment and had very little room. So... the left kicker didn't fire. Long winded!
