Kyle Railway Line, Balnacra, West Highlands, July 2022

There are a few houses in Balnacra but there is evidence of a bigger population as there are a few ruins such as this one.

The ruin is near the River Carron and Loch Doughaill and they would have been an exceedingly good source of water. I suspect the ruin pre dates the railway line and the road I was travelling.
