Day 185: New Dante
Hey, wanna know why it's taken me so long to get the last few days worth of pictures uploaded?
I've been upgrading my main computer. Significantly. I'm now rockin' a quad-core AMD Phenom II 955 with four GB of RAM, and I've replaced the trio of 250GB PATA drives that I was using to store my root and home directory to a little 32GB SSD root and a 1TB /home. Also my former 1TB Pictures drive is now a 2TB drive, since I was down to about 20G free.
Oh, and I've moved from one bigass case that holds everything to a little tiny microATX tower with the big bulk drives in an external four-bay eSATA enclosure.
Feels good, man.
