BBC Wales supplied the OB facilities for S4C at the recent Wales v. New Zealand rugby international - BBC Network produced and directed the match itself, with our scanner having a number of add-ons for S4C. Here's what the left-hand side of the director's mixer looked like.
From left to right, in green, the 2 studio cameras: then in blue, the "personality" camera in the stadium that could pick on players (but not in a bullying sense), Ray Gravell's camera, a camera in the roof, a camera on the match commentators, and a camera on analyst Brynmor Williams.
In red, the BBC Network match feed - which we took most of the time, and then in black, a selection of Network's match cameras which we could also use. (H/H is Hand-Held).
By pressing a button on the top row, that is put on air, the corresponding button immediately below it is used as a preview or standby.
