Lace

My grandmother crocheted the piece in the frame on the wall. My grandmother could crochet, knit, sew, and tat. I was 11 or 12 before I knew that one could "buy" mittens, scarves, and hats. My grandmother made all of that stuff for us. She tatted every granddaughter a lace collar and cuffs. Luckily, I kept most of the nice stuff that she made for me.
