Pink and twirly

This was one of the first signs of spring in the air...the unfurling of the twirly grevillea buds. I found them against the morning light, coming from a sun that was sitting lower in the morning sky some months ago. Now you have to get up really early to catch the sun that low...which isn't good for the non-morning people amongst us!
