One lucky Barn Owl heading home after a successful hunt. I loved the image, but when I took it he was flying against a blank white sky which left something to be desired. So I made the choice of combining the owl shot with a different background. I frequently take 'background' images with just this situation in mind. I took this background photo on a foggy morning at the same location. It was like magic when I put them together. Both are full resolution images - no crop! Serendipity at its best.
