windshield light silhouette/s

There's this remarkable light in our front bedroom in the afternoon, as the sun slants across the cars parked in the street. It throws the sharpest silhouettes of the trees and plants and little architectural details of the veranda across the walls and doors. The old, old glass in the windows makes a lovely, water-like moire pattern as well. I'm very fond of it.

 

I tried using that light/shadows to do a self-portrait here, which turned out somewhat interestingly, i think, tho I'm hard-pressed to explain why my nose is so long in one of the profiles and not in the other...
