orange skies at dawn

A dust storm has raised tons (literally) of the legendary orange/red dust of Australia into the skies this morning. If anything, the skies are MORE orange than they appear in the photo.

 

A very apocalyptic look, if you ask me, but I rather like the 19th-century feel of this photo nevertheless. A Maxfield-Parrish apocalypse.
