RIP, alumin(i)um enterprises
I just noticed in a realtor's window today that this place is for sale as a "development site", which makes me a bit wistful. I've been rather fond of it since stumbling across it in a back lane behind "millionaires row" (Georgina Street). An actually functioning alumin(i)um fab, right there in Newtown. No doubt it will now be torn down and turned into high-end terraces with "Balinese inspired master bath"s. Feh.
