(50/52) cartoon june...
or, what june would look like if she got chubby. :)
this week in 52 weeks for dogs, we had my favorite challenge... to re-create or pay tribute to a photo from another member in our group. there were several i wanted to do, but i kept coming back to this one, originally (and very original indeed!) done by group member chris and her malinois, dazzle.
i haven't really done many planned shots in june's project, so i thought it would be fun to actually do a photo that required a few props and some thought put into how to set it up. now i'm wishing we had done this challenge at a different time of year, as i was so busy this week, i had about a thirty minute window of time to get this done! i couldn't find a colorful building to set up in front of, so instead i covered one side of the shed with purple paper. i had to do a lot of cloning to get rid of shadows and sky, and since i'm terrible at cloning, i ended up just dumping paint in photoshop to cover it all up. lol!!
i am definitely going to try this again when i've got more time to do a better job. thanks for the inspiration, dazzle!!
