Political Murals, Belfast

Belfast, Northern Ireland. See notes to read what each part says.

During the troubled history of Belfast, people have painted murals in support of their side, glorifying their heroes, and demonizing their enemies.

This set of murals is more recent, and is dubbed, I believe, the "International Wall." Because of their sordid past, the people of Northern Ireland are highly political, and this wall is a place to express opinions about politics on the world stage.

I've been meaning to put together this panorama since I got back from Europe in October of 2007, and finally got around to it in December of 2008. That's how lazy I am.
