Spaghetti

Spaghetti, design Giandomenico Belotti

A symbol in the history of design, it is the first Alias chair to appear in the MoMA

collection of New York. The structure is in stove enamelled or chromed steel, the seats

and backs in the distinctive woven PVC, subtle in the transparent version and more striking

in the various coloured versions. Also available in variants like leather hide and the

special straw of the paludis series that enable unexpected tactile and visual experiences.

 

Simbolo nella storia del design, spaghetti chair è la prima delle sedie Alias entrate nella

collezione del MoMA di New York. La struttura è in acciaio verniciato o cromato; le sedute

e gli schienali sono prodotti nella caratteristica tessitura in tondino di pvc, discreti nella

versione trasparente e più decisi nelle diverse tinte. E ancora, in varianti come il cuoio e la

speciale paglia della serie paludis, che suggeriscono inaspettate esperienze tattili e visive.
