At first glance it might have been a fairy tale, but the details didn't cooperate. It wasn't daytime, and those weren't flowers.
I took the covered bridge picture on an icy night during the winter of 2015, near Pittsburgh. The texture was a recent picture from Rothrock State Forest. Most of the red coloration is the serendipitous result of the intersection between the two images.
