Pon Sawan

This is Pon Sawan a victim of a land mine injury while working in the logging industry.

She has now been rescued and found a permanent and loving home at Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai, Thailand

All the elephants there have been rescued from the logging industry, tourism that uses them for riding, or from street beggers where they are used to make money from tourists.
