Itsukushima Shinto Shrine Torii (Miyajima, Japan)
As the night set on the island of Miyajima, the world famous torii of the Itsukushima Shinto Shrine was illuminated, making its bright colors stand out against the darkness. During this entire process, as the tide receded, hundreds of viewers to slowly made their way to the torii gate.
