Crime of despair.

Drowned by her weeping sorrow, she took with her, one symbol of hope.
This week has been a really chilled out week. My family and I are just trying to adjust to being back home. Christian got accepted into university tonight yay! We're doing the same course. I went for a job interview today and came home and decided to have a shoot in my pool. Mum was kind enough to lend me a dress to wear, which turned out to be her year 10 Formal dress! I have to thank Christian profusely for clicking the shutter for me and making sure everything was how I wanted it to be. It really was a collaborative shoot. I had the problem of being in the photo and not having the ability to have my remote in my hand without it being damaged.
Here's the interesting part to this concept. It's a little Hamlet inspired but I put my own twist on it. I didn't want it to be completely Ophelia-like but rather her be my inspiration source. Anyway, I've been wanting to take a photograph for Gurbir, because I was his secret santa and due to me being overseas and busy with other things, I didn't get the opportunity to take a photography for him in time for Christmas. I messaged him letting him know that at some point, I wanted to re-create one of his photographs. Now, I hadn't intended on doing that tonight but while editing, I realised that my photograph was a little like his! So, I want to dedicate this photograph to the incredible Gurbir! Check out his work, he's pretty amazing!
P.S. New blog posts will be published tomorrow :)
