My son's major obsession at the moment is drawing. He will draw things all day long given the chance. And I have to say he is getting pretty good at it. And like a temperamental artiste - and like a small boy - he loses pencils for a passtime. We have supplied him with so many pencils and sets of pencils, and still he will come along and say, "Do you know where I might find a pencil?". I can only assume that one day there will be a sudden erruption of pencils in the house due to there being no more capacity left for hidden pencils.
Anyway, we don't begrudge buying him pencils because he does love his drawing. And so the latest multipack of pencils arrived in the house the other day. Before they are handed over for brief use and then storage in the hidden recesses and thus added to the future pencil erruption incident, I couldn't resist an outing with the macro lens.
