New Haven Railroad ALCO L-1 class 2-10-2 Santa Fe steam locomotive 3247, is seen running light in East Botsford, Connecticut, 5-16-1936
New Haven Railroad ALCO L-1 class 2-10-2 Santa Fe steam locomotive 3247, is seen running light in East Botsford, Connecticut, 5-16-1936. This appears to be a railroad yard area by the number of track present. In my opinion the tender used for these steam locomotives were very small. It would have been interesting to see what a Delta trailing truck would do for the locomotive's overall appearance, which is good anyway, but it might be even better with the new trailing truck.
