New Haven Railroad ALCO S-1 DEY-3 class switcher # 0990 is seen handling heavyweight cars at an unknown location in what appears to be the electric zone, ca late 1950's. The first two heavyweight cars are painted in the Pullman two tone gray paint scheme. These cars may still be parlor cars, however, since they appear to be coupled to Pennsylvania Railroad cars they may in fact be Pullman's or then again rebuilt as of this time into coaches. It appears that on the right there is a spotted New Haven Office Car along side a newer stainless steel Pullman Osgood-Bradley car. Check out the late 1950's model cars located to the left. This photo came from my personal collection, however, the location and original photographer's name is unknown.
