Sunset at Oxbow Bend, Grand Teton National Park

Oxbow Bend is a scenic section of the Snake River resembling a U-shaped collar for an ox. It is one of the prime destinations for wildlife watching in Grand Teton NP, and often one can find moose, elk, beaver, pelicans, and different kinds of birds here. Mount Moran of the Teton range dominates this view.

Oh, and the mosquitos are absolute murder here! Despite using insect repellant. I'm surprised one did not stowaway in my camera.

An HDR rendered with PhotomatixPro using five exposures.

I also plan to post a non-HDR version of this scene down the road, perhaps using the exposure blending technique, or just regular processing.
