Monument Stars

'Monument Stars'

What do you do when there's an eclipse? You take advantage of the opportunity to shoot the stars! That's what I did at Monument Valley a few weeks ago. The moon eclipse made the sky so dark the milky way came out beautifully. Doesn't happen everyday you can shoot a bright milky way with a full moon right?

This is a panorama of 4 shots with the Sony Zeiss 55mm. Shot at f2 at ISO 12.800 with the Sony A7RII. I specifically chose to include the right part of the image because I loved all of those big extra stars you can see there. Feel free to identify them as I'm not an expert.
