Ray of hope at Jaffa Gate, Ierusalem
The Jaffa Gate is one of the eight gates of the Old City of Jerusalem. Jaffa Gate was inaugurated in 1538 as part of the rebuilding of the Old City walls by Suleiman the Magnificent.
The coloured girl -a young student, I guess- iluminated by a morning ray (I took the picture at 6 a.m.) is a symbol of hope and desired peace in a land of conflict.
