Red Fox Mom Cleaning The Pups Ears

This is her favorite pup and they are together a lot.

The pup will come in close to her and always crouch to make sure she is okay with him being that close.

Then she lets the pup nuzzle her.

In this shot it looks like she is giving his ears a cleaning. Kind of like when mom would say, "make sure you wash behind your ears"! ;-)

They were together there for about 10 minutes.

The other pup was there also, but, didn't interact with mom.

I woke up at 2:52AM this morning and figured I might as well get up.

Sunrise is around 5:30AM now.

I saw 5 different fox and found the Little Red-throated Loon again and added more shots to my collection.

I spent about 2 hours with her.
