Asian Mongoose - Kona, Hawaii

I photographed some Asian Mongoose while on vacation in Hawaii on the "Big Island".

They are very fast and will disappear into holes and crevices in the lava rocks if you move, even a little bit.

Kind of like the Pikas do.
