Young Female Red Fox From Last Fall

This is one of the three pups from two years ago.

It has grown up to be a very beautiful fox.

It is also a very shy fox and runs at my slightest movement.

So, good shots are few and far between.

I have spent way more time trying to get good shots of the young male and it has paid off.

But, I would love to get some good closeups of this beautiful girl.

There haven't been near as many fox (males) coming in this year.

I know the little female has gone into heat and normally that attracts quite a few males.

She was late this year and that might have made the difference.

Also, she has all but, abandoned her regular den and is hanging out about a half mile from where she usually does.

I need to go check that area out and see if she is now, denning down there.
