Female Red Fox On A Cold -8 Degree Morning

We had just had a big snow fall.

It had pushed our snow total for November past all previous years and set a new record for the most snow on record in November.

Last year was bad, but, this year is worse and November is still not over.

After, all that snow our temperatures dropped.

The morning of this shot it was -8 below zero.

The day before it was -11 degrees below zero.

The roads were a total mess.

Some still are.

Still it was good to get out with the camera and see what I could get.

Last year I was out when the temps were -14.

Always, fun when your fingers get so numb, you can't feel the shutter button and have to look to make sure where it is.

But, as Jan says, "its Alaska! what do you expect!"

She is right!

Alaska: Love it or leave it!

We love it!!!

Camera Settings: f/7.1 - 1/400 - 400mm - ISO 2000
