Pair Of River Otters That Were Feeding On Fish
One of the added pluses of photographing the fox so often, is the other wildlife that I see.
Found these two River Otters fishing in a "settling pond" that feeds into the creek where the fox hangout.
They were using this opening in the ice and also the openings at the dam spillway to surface for air. They were catching some nice sized fish. Unfortunately, I didn't get any shots that really show what they were eating.
I would have liked to have gotten closer, but, I didn't quite trust the ice.
So, better safe than sorry! ;-)
