Psuedocreobotra Wahlbergii Praying Mantis On Bromeliad - Explore 4/8/'18

This is from my archives. I recently ran across it. They are a very beautiful & unusual looking Praying Mantis.

Also, called the Spiny Flower Mantis.

Love the way they are so alert to your every move. Neat how they will turn their head to watch you as you move around them. Shot using a Canon 100mm Macro with Macro Flash.

I always look at those wicked claws they have and I am very happy they aren't the size of a cat! ;-)
