Frozen Alster..Snowy afternoon.

Seit 13 Jahren zum erstenmal wieder zugefroren: die Hamburger Außenalster.

Zwar noch nicht offiziell freigegeben zum Alstereisvergnügen, aber Vergnügen hatten viele Hamburger dennoch.

This is a view on the "Outer Alster" which is frozen for the first time since 13 years.

It's quite spectacular 'cos it's an extremely rare occasion.

 

So many people came to enjoy it! But on the afternoon I took this capture it was very dizzy and snowy as well so there was enough space for good positions on and around the Alster ;)

I tried to catch a touch of that atmosphere...
