To voice your support for the Financial Rescue Plan!
My family has lived through the Asian financial crisis just a decade ago and understand what it means to be in a recession, and how it feels when you learn your friends and fellow citizens are going bankrupt or commiting suicide on a daily basis. 1.3 trillion dollars evaporated on Monday alone, due to the House's failure to pass the bill. I am amazed at what I read in the comments section on the New York Times or the Washington Post, such as "Hell, no bailout, I'd rather live in the Great Depression." I think Americans have lived too comfortably and have become reckless.
The sad fact is, even if the Americans choose to fail, they will drag the world to go down with them. So unfair. Vote yes to invade Iraq and no to save the economy; way to go, America! I will have to stop here or I will keep going on and on.
