Jumpoff Man Shelter, Prehistoric Pictograph, Sewanee Style, Marion County, Tennessee 1

There are a number of isolated prehistoric pictographs in the Cumberland Plateau. Most sites have only one image but occasionally there will be several faint to very faint images. The age and meaning of these pictographs are unknown. Most sites where they occur have been looted. Associated artifacts range from Woodland to Mississippian Periods.
