Safety Rules for Kids in India

Some of these safety rules are very interesting.

Not to take candy from strangers. I did not realize strangers in India give out candy. I wonder if the teacher who uses this poster tells kids what to do if a stranger offers candy then tries to take the kids with him. I am sure abductions happen in India. One thing I have been a bit surprised about in Kochi is seeing young kids alone or in small groups ages 7-13 hitch-hiking their way to school. Maybe this poster should say 'Don't take rides from strangers." Getting into a car with a stranger can be much more dangerous! (Taking candy can be equally dangerous of course depending on the next move of the adult.

I also love the other block on not entering a bus while it is in motion. I will talk about that in the next photo!
