LEGO Exo Suit Modification Front
I have been having tons of fun playing around with the newly released LEGO Exo Suit set by Peter Reid and Mark Stafford. I have also done some modifications to the set to make it even more to my liking.
Here you can see the Exo Suit from the front. First of all, I have replaced all trans-yellow parts with blue. I liked the trans-yellow, but wanted to match my Exo Suit more to LEGO Classic Space, thus blue was added. The cockpit area also got more blue, and there are some more blue detailing here and there; including some blue "wiring" using LEGO rubber-bands, at the lower arms, the upper arms (at the back) and the back of the legs.
I redesigned the arms as those were not to my liking. It was actually really simple to do. I have also redesigned the roll-cage as I felt the original was a bit too short and stubby, and the attachment to the cockpit too weak. I learned a lot about greebling during the process. :)
The original greebling was taken off from the top and I added my own that I feel is more in line with Peter's CUUSOO submission with the gears and all. There are a few more things here and there that you will probably notice like the lights attached to the roll-cage, laser-gun under the right arm, etc. The white stickers at the feet and at the top are from the Benny's Spaceship set.
