Strobist: x1600 into floor kicker just standing up on its end (90 degrees) cam right. the cam left unit an x3200 bouncing into a silver reflector back through 2 Layers of 4X8 scrim tracing paper also providing ambiance through a white reflector on top of the x3200. (Also white long roll background paper is providing ambiance from the x3200 bounce.
This image was shot in a kiddy pool with acrylic paint. (obviously some pop added) the trick is to thin the acrylic paint down so it sprays out of your applicator and creates a nice disbursement. I rigged up a straw like mechanism and a lid that actually fits on the little folk art bottles. This was done with red and yellow... The camera was on a boom about 7ft above. I just squeezed the tube and painted colors in the water. This is not as easy as it looks. We had to do it twice took a bit to drain the pool and start over.
