Uncertain Signals

NS U41 passes through the interlocking at Jasper on the Appalachia District. With this part of the Appy only seeing one or two trains in a typical day, NS recently filed to discontinue signaling on the line. Although it's uncertain whether that application will be approved, regardless it symbolizes the decline of what was once a busy main bustling with coal traffic.
