bean me up
It's tough to resist taking a few shots of the bean when you're in Chicago. I'm sure every comp has been done before but it's still so fun to shoot. This was from my morning walk and I didn't want to bother carrying a tripod. As I was walking around for around 20 minutes, I suddenly noticed the sun was hitting three windows from the building across the street. These windows reflected a beam of light right down the middle of the bean (from the top) and lit it up. I'm not sure if this is something that happens everyday or if it was a rare occurrence but I started snapping like a madman. This light show only lasted about 60 seconds. I got shots with this stranger and without, but I really liked the way he seemed to be looking up in awe.
