Why one should attend your reunion?
"At this stage in life, it’s fascinating to reconnect with each and every individual, learning what they have chosen to do with their life, revisiting with them the ups and downs we all face, learning from their experiences in ways never imagined. That we all share a common experience having gone to school in Ames gives us each a connection into a relaxed conversation without pretense, letting us focus less on the past and more on what are our own life experiences. Yes there is nostalgia in any gathering like this, but in contrast to prior reunions, I felt that coming together this summer after 20 years was really about us as adults, not who we were as teenagers." - Rodney Harl 1989 Ames High School Alum.
