Lion fired brick mural on the North side of Roosevelt School, Ames Iowa. Done by 6th grades students from the 1967-1968 school year in Mr Connors art class (they all graduated later from AHS in 1974). They are still in good shape as of April 16, 2014 on the outside of the building 50+ years later. Roosevelt school was sold by the Ames School Board in 2013 to a developer to convert into condos, the developer has decided to leave this art intact on the side of the building.
