El Palacio de Congresos de Oviedo, de Santiago de Calatrava, popularmente conocido como El Centollu, ya era una de las obras españolas más malditas del siglo XXI, con una inenarrable sucesión de desatinos desde la primera piedra, pero el próximo 31 de marzo aumentará su leyenda negra: ese día cerrarán las últimas tiendas abiertas de su centro comercial, dejando vacíos 40.000 metros cuadrados de un edificio que alberga también un centro de convenciones, un hotel y la consejería autonómica de sanidad.
El Calatrava de Oviedo es un proyecto tóxico que ha contaminado a todas las partes: a los promotores, al arquitecto, a la administración pública, a las empresas privadas, al ciudadano y al 'skyline' de la ciudad.
The Palace of Congresses of Oviedo, Santiago de Calatrava, popularly known as El Centollu, was already one of the most cursed Spanish works of the 21st century, with an unspeakable succession of folly from the first stone, but on March 31 will increase its black legend: that day they will close the last open stores of their shopping center, leaving empty 40,000 square meters of a building that also houses a convention center, a hotel and the regional health department.
The Calatrava of Oviedo is a toxic project that has contaminated all parties: the promoters, the architect, the public administration, the private companies, the citizen and the 'skyline' of the city.
