Protest at Plaza del Congreso
We went to the Congress building in expectation of making the 4 p.m. tour. Turns out the tour wasn't until the next day, but we were provided with this protest immediately upon exiting the Subte station. We couldn't figure out at the time who or what was being protested, or whether they were pro- or anti-Peronist (the banners referring to Juan and Eva were unclear as to their intent). What was really interesting was this space an hour later. You'd have never known a protest had taken place. Traffic was flowing normally and all the trash and debris had pretty much been cleared away.
