Young Luke, getting his father's hand-me-down lightsaber and little Leia receiving her father's hand-me-down atromech droid... wait a second! Vader is such a cheapskate!! He's a dark lord of the Sith! Right hand man to the Emperor himself! You'd think the guy could afford new presents for his kids! No wonder they end up rebelling against him when they get older. ;-)
