‘Leighton ’S’ bends’…..
…….Well at least it should be! The River Severn here winds around in a large ’S’ shape here - the surrounding fields act as a huge flood plain and clearly doing their job currently! The river peaked at Ironbridge last night at 6.6 meters - clearly a town to steer clear off so #054 was taken about 2 miles upstream at Leighton overlooking the popular ’S’ bends or as per today ‘Flood Plain’. Taken on my phone in Apple RAW & edited in Lightroom. Stay safe & steer well clear of flood water. Alan:-)
