357-366 ONE A DAY - 366 for the leap year!
‘A famous bridge’……So famous they named a town after it! Ironbridge!! This area of Coalbrookdale under Hodge Bower soon became known as Ironbridge, after this the Worlds first Bridge made of Iron was cast & erected here between 1777 & 1781. I wouldn’t mind a penny for every gallon that flowed under it in the short time we were there this afternoon!! The flood barriers were not up but it wont be long by the looks!! This picture is about 15 miles downstream from yesterdays flooded Shrewsbury. Well we are on the BIG countdown on our 366 projects!! 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 - yippee! Hope you are all good and staying Covid safe on YOUR countdown to the New Year! Commiseration to those most effected by the new Covid developments just announced in the UK. Alan:-)…….
