,, 1/2 Time Report, Sept 24 ,,
.
That's right we made it to the mud cobra field.
Lots of rain all night and it was doing a light
rain when we left for the field. No# 1 said
not a good time to go, so we went ;-)---
The dirt/trail/road that gets us to the entrance
of the mud cobra field has never been so
difficult in the past ! My boots already
had mud and water in them before
we got to the 90 degree left turn.
And once we did the 90 degree turn it got worse.
But I kept the wick twisted and never slowed down.
That was a wild e-ticket ride ;-)-
Notice that two of the tow straps are already missing.
They had zip ties holding them in and the ride was
so violent the zip ties broke. They are the big
zip ties too, like I said way violent ride ;-0-
And yes I walked all the way back to retrieve them.
That's like 400 meters maybe closer to 500 meters.
Anyway the dogs raced around for a good hour
having the time of their lives getting soaked
and covered with lots of stinky sticky mud.
Getting out wasn't quite as bad cuz when I walked
back to find the tow straps I found a slightly
better way to do our exit. Wasn't
great but good enough.
Once home the dogs, scooter and
myself were all hosed down an fed.
