Abandoned Abused Street Dogs.

Just loaded Rocky into the sidecar for his last

trip to the dog doctor. This will be his final

vaccine injection for the year.

He did not move from this position all the way

there and all the way back. In fact he stayed in

this position all the time at the dog doctors too.

But when we returned to the nuns place and the

collar/leash was removed, he once again became

"The Rocket Man" we all know and love ............... ;-)~

Alright, here's a quick update for the last few days

and the next few weeks in the future.

Highlights for the last few days.

Tuesday the 19th I walked into Cambodia.

An hour later I walked back into Thailand.

Another hour and I mounted the scooter

and headed for home.Arrived around dark.

Can't remember what happened Wednesday

during the day. But by night no# 1 wife and her

brother had me in the ER at the local hospital.

Thursday both no# 1 and I were at the immigration

office in another town working through the visa

mine field.

Friday, July 22nd.

6AM no# 1 wife is dropped off at the bus station.

She's heading back to work out by the border

and I am heading to The Dog Palace.

Looks like Sunday or most likely Monday I'll try to

take both Tinker Bell and Little Stubby to the vet

for their final vaccine injections for the year.

I feel both can travel together in the sidecar just fine.

Legs goes in for her final on the 30th..............................

OK, now that makes for nine dogs all doing three trips

to the dog doctor, so who have we forgotten ?

That would be Pumpkin, and in reality she hasn't been

forgotten one bit. Every week I have supplied the nuns

with special mange medications for Little Pumpkin.

She has been doing very very well and the mange isn't

visible on her at all. But I think she has 4 more months

of daily medications before she should be cured ?

This morning the doctor gave the ok to spay Pumpkin

when ever we are ready. And she will also start on all

of her vaccine injections at that time too.

So here's the draw back ...The other nine dogs receiving

all their vaccine injections along with the food supplied

to the nuns, monthly medications for heart worm, tics,

mange, intestinal parasites and so on have used up the

entire budget !

When enough donations come in, Pumpkin will be spayed

and vaccinated. And hopefully enough will come in to buy

the monthly pills for all the dogs as stated above. And kibble.

So there ya go, tomorrow I rest and fix the bike, Sunday I

might go get the dogs if I feel rested and the bike is fixed.

Thanks for your comments and a big thanks for any donations.
