Photo 29/365 - DNA Wheel
Photo 29/365 - 29 January 2010.
I had the chance to go photoshooting tonight with a glorious sunset which I just managed to catch, and into the dusk just before it got perfectly dark. In the background I could hear the crowd cheering on Federer vs Tsonga as I was taking a truckload of photos. I was so pleased with the results that I agonised over which one to choose as my photo of the day.
Finally I decided on this one because I loved the colour of the wheel on it. I scouted this location before I got to the tennis on Wednesday and knew exactly how I wanted to compose the shot. I took a lot of photos and I will upload some others and you will understand why I took so long to decide.
This is the ferris wheel at Birrarung Marr, not far from Rod Laver Arena. The reason why I chose this one? Of all the shots I took tonight (some 150 or so), this was the only one where the wheel has the red/orange colouring as oppose to the green, blue, red.
