J.P. BROWNE, Mack Flat Bed Stake Truck, Truck Show, Roxbury, NJ,
I went to a Truck Show that was held in Roxbury, New Jersey on September 29, 1991. My Notes are very Sketchy, however it was near where Interstate 80 (aka: Christopher Columbus Highway) crosses over US Route 46 (aka: Ledgewood Road) in Roxbury Township, New Jersey.
This Particular Photograph shows a Mack Stake Truck owned by J. P. BROWNE Trucking & Rigging, Mountainside, New Jersey 07092 and Phone Number: 908-233-9078. The Front Bumper has the caption : Heavy Hauling Printed on it and under the Driverside Door, it indicates that the Maximum Gross Weight (MGW) is 60,000 Pounds. There is also a Sign Printed on the Box that overhangs the Cab, which is so faded that I can't read and a worker standing on the Truck Bed.
This Mack Dump Truck caught my eye and the lens of my 35 mm Minolta Maxxim 5000. This Truck has Chain Drive to the Rear Wheels. ADAMS Metal Products located at 7 Orben Drive, Ledgewood, NJ 07852, which is close to the I-80 Bridge over Crossover of US Route 46. I don't remember, but it's quite possible that the Truck Show was held on ADAM Metal Products Property. Another possibility, is that, it might have been Held at Orben Park.
