Asparagus
After our Bus tour of the Port of Miami, we visited the Flagler Global Logistics Center Near NW Rosedale Drive and NW 67th Street, Hialeah, Miami, Florida. They Basically Flash Freeze and Fumigate Imported Produce. If I remember correctly, they said the temperature inside was near Minus 40 Degrees Fahrenheit. I believe that they Freeze the Produce with Liquid Nitrogen.
This Logistics Center was very hard to find on the Map, but it's quite close to the Florida East Coast Railway's Hialeah Railroad Yard Balloon Track. The address is: 3200 NW 67th Ave. Bld 1, Suite 1, Miami FL.
The Names on the side of the boxes , as best as I could find with the Google Translator, were: (Japanese: Agrokasa), (French: Aserges), (German: Spargel), (Spanish: La Catalina) and (Esparragos: Spanish) .
